El Camino & Carson's recent collaborative workshop on destigmatizing community college! We had four stations to help educate the high school students: Finances, Academic Planning, Environment, and the Transfer Process. The workshop was concluded with a final discussion about community college and why the stigma that community college is inferior is false. Transfer students from community college were also in attendance who were able to add their unique perspective as transfers themselves.
